Many refer to Roy Reid as a living miracle. His inspirational story of survival is the foundation for the important message he delivers on the transformational power of trust. In 2019, he was struck down by an acute aortic dissection that most medical professionals say should have ended his life. Instead, it transformed it into a purpose Roy describes as: “love people, be grateful, give generously and make a difference”. Roy and his wife Kim live in Orlando, FL and have four children.

Roy helps CEOs and entrepreneurs go from frustrated, overwhelmed, and weary from the pains of a low-trust culture (or the trauma of distrust in themselves) to confident, satisfied, and encouraged, improving their health, well-being, and performance (personally and professionally). He helps them develop resilient and courageous teams that foster a high-trust culture where people feel safe, do the right thing, deliver outstanding service, and strive to improve performance each day. 

Roy works with leaders and organizations as a coach, strategist, and consultant. He was recognized as a Top Thought Leader in Trust by Trust Across America-Trust Around the World numerous times as one of the Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trust and Business and was honored by them with a lifetime achievement award. Roy is a sought-after speaker and co-author of The Trust Transformation, an evidence-based training program, and upcoming book; both of which teach people how to improve results by improving relationships through a more intentional focus on earning, building, and restoring trust. He also served as a principal investigator on research studies at AdventHealth to explore the impact and outcomes of a more intentional focus on trust in relationships. He is currently a Senior Fellow with The Stockworth Institute, working to build an education platform dedicated to providing companies with the competent skilled workforce they need in today’s competitive and unstable marketplace. Roy has worked with Fortune 500® companies, healthcare organizations, entrepreneurs, professional service firms, and public agencies.
